Just made a blog, how do i get traffic?

-ive never made a blog before but i decided to talk about something i know about, so i blogged about torrenting. i only wrote a little bit so far but i plan to keep adding more and more. but my question is, why write this blog, if no one is going to see it? soooo in the simplest dumbed up terms you've ever used, can someone explain how to get traffic? remember, im stupid, so no big words :P
