A Junior in high school wanting to be a tutor, need advise in advertisement?

-Questions within the texts are capitalized. Please answer them. I'd very much appreciate it.

So I want to be a tutor for 3rd thru 10th graders. I have a 4.64 GPA, though it might go down since I'm transferring to a different school which grades the GPA differently. I was the president of the mock trial club, and had been in so far six honors classes, and one AP (our school doesn't offer as many AP classes as the eastern schools do) and have taken 2 AP exams. My practice SAT score is around 2050 though it is from a private tutoring academy which has much higher questions and average-smart students so my grade would probably rise up maybe 100 to 200 points hopefully, based on what they say that is. And they're very good. A lot of their students got 2400 and many of them got 2100 or over and I am in the program called 2100 Plus for all students wanting to get that or above that score.

I dont' necessarily have tutoring experience but I do have experience with kids for three years (kindergarten, 2nd graders, and 4th graders, and do have musical teaching experience)

I orginally though that the best way for me to advertise my tutorship is to advertise in the library through fliers. Unfortunately, the libraries in my county do not allow those type of advertisement but only advertisement from non-profit organizations. So that's out.

Then I decided well why not the newspaper? Well someone told me I couldn't do it and I would have the police check on me which is no problem but the part of the "I couldn't do it" worried me. 1. IS THIS TRUE?

Other people suggested craigslist. I am only a junior and am wondering if that is ok for me to do. Also, for those of you who have advertised on craigslists 2. HOW LONG DID IT TAKE FOR YOU TO GET A STUDENT? 3. IS IT DANGEROUS?

and 4. IF YOU ARE A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT DID YOU TAKE THIS OPTION AND HOW BENEFICIAL WAS IT TO YOUR NUMBER OF STUDENTS?

I also am going to put up flyers on the mailboxes since there is a school only five minutes away by walking and many of the kids who go there live in my neighborhood. I also went to a junior high school with a principal I am very well acquainted with so that's another option I'm going to take. 4. HOW SHOULD I APPROACH THEM AND DO YOU KNOW TO WHOM I SHOULD TALK TO?

I also read about someone suggesting to put an ad in the yellow papers. 5. IS THAT POSSIBLE FOR A STUDENT LIKE ME TO DO SO? AND HOW MUCH WOULD THAT COST IF YOU KNOW?

I also learned about putting flyers up on grocery stores. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF STORES LIKE VONS AND WINCO HAVE BULLETIN BOARDS? Or by grocery stores does it mean like SEVEN ELEVEN and all those mini stores that sell snacks and some occassional real food?

IF you performed any other ways of advertisement, I'd be delighted to hear it from you?

OUT OF ALL THESE, WHAT WAS YOUR MOST POPULAR AD THAT BROUGHT FORTH THE MOST PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS?

Finally, if you are a tutor (please identify if you are a high school student like me, a college student, or a professional, so that I am aware of the different price ranges from each level), I am wondering how many students you have and if that number is good for you without burdening you with all the other activities you have. Also, how much do you charge?
