Tips for selling second hand items on ebay?

-I have a few items I plan on selling on ebay, does anyone have any tips to increase sales price? Thanks.It really depends on what kind of items you plan to sell. In general, if it's hot items where you see a lot of close deals with good price, it's better to do auction style as the fee is in general lower and you get a lot of exposure if you have a low start bid price.

But if it's an item where it doesn't sell too fast, it's better to do buy-it-now format. Also, you can have the Make an Offer option turn on. Having it list as FREE shipping also helps, specially now that Ebay accounts for the final value fee with the shipping cost also.

Also, I would watch the time when you end the item. that also depends on what you are trying to sell.



Do some research. Go to eBay, search on the comparable items, and look at the "Completed Listing" (one of the links on the left hand side) and see what kind of price they end up, and how people are selling them. Have fun!
