If you're making a website for a company, what are some of the first things you should do/consider?

-The first thing to consider must be the target audience - who is the website intended for? Why are they reading it? What will they gain from accessing your website?



The focus of the website should be designed for their benefit - whether they are purchasing a product, the website should contain enough information such as delivery times, sizes, availability, reviews, price etc.



How you target is your website is completey dependent on the end user, put yourself in their shoes to see if the website you want to design is suitable.
