I have a question about craigslist?

-I bought a dryer through craigslist. the seller said it's 1 year and 1/2 old. but when I brought it home my husband told me that is was very old. and also we found that the seller retouch it to hide all the spot that had rust. I still have all his text messages. I text me him back asking question but he is not responding. any idea. thanks.When people usually sell things on Craigslist its usually an as is sale. Meaning when you buy it, the price and condition of the item won't change and once it's sold there's no refunds or exchanges. I think you got ripped off and I wouldn't recommend buying big items from that site because a lot of people do scams and rip people off. Don't expect to hear from the person you bought it from because they already got their money and they no longer have concerns for that dryer. Next time, buy appliances at a store and not through that site. I know that saving money is the key but you can always do some research and find coupons because the money you gave to the guy could have been towards a new dryer.
